Concert Benefits Food For Lane County

EUGENE, Ore. — There’s a chance to have some fun while doing some charity work Thursday night.

The annual Stuff the McDonald Theater event is happening at 7 p.m. This is event’s third year and all of the proceeds will go to benefit Food For Lane County.

Hosted by the radio station 104.7 KDUK, the concert will kick off the annual Stuff the Bus event, which will get its start Friday.

The concert features performers Little Rascalz, Rootdown and Columbia Records recording artists MKTO.

“For years we have had stuff the bus which is a wonderful food drive but for the last several years kduk has added another element, stuff the mcdonald and they’ve gotten some great bands and over the last couple of years they’ve raised a few thousand dollars for us,” said Alicia Hines, Food Resource Developer at Food For Lane County.

If you can’t make it Thursday, you can come Friday and Saturday to Stuff the Bus. Toys will also be collected for the annual Toys for Tots drive. The bus will be set up outside of the Green Acres Road Walmart from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
