Western Oregon arts programs receive grant funding

The Oregon Arts Commission awarded 79 small arts organizations FY2018 operating grants.

EUGENE, Ore -- Small grants are making a big difference for 18 arts organizations in Western Oregon.

The Oregon Arts Commission awarded a total of 79 operating grants for fiscal year 2018 that will help ensure arts access in rural areas.

The Small Operating Grants are designed to provide operating support to arts organizations with budgets under $150,000. Eligibility is also limited to organizations which have operated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit for two years or more.  Most organizations received $1,230.

The following Western Oregon arts organizations received a FY2018 Small Operating Grant:

Greater Eugene Chorus/SWEET ADALINES, Eugene

Riverbend Live!, Winston
Rural Art Center, Lorane
