Police seek tips in Subway robbery

Police say it was an armed robbery.

EUGENE, Ore.-- Police are asking for tips related to an armed robbery at the Subway on W. 18th Avenue in Eugene.

They said it happened at around 9 p.m. Saturday.

Police said two suspects used a handgun to rob the sandwich shop of cash.

The first suspect is described as a white man, 20-30 years old, 6-feet to 6-feet 3-inches tall, about 180 pounds and wearing a dark grey sweatshirt with a hood, black sweatpants with a white logo on the left side, and white shoes.

The second suspect is described as a black man, 5-feet 10-inches to 6-feet 2inches tall, about 140-180 pounds, and wearing a white sweatshirt with a hood, grey sweatpants and white shoes.

Multiple officers responded, along with a Springfield Police K-9 officer, but they didn't find those suspects.
