Lucky Lizard employee robbed at gunpoint

Springfield Police say two men entered the business and robbed a female employee at gunpoint just before the business closed.

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Springfield Police are investigating an early morning armed robbery.

Police say two men robbed Lucky Lizard on the 1900 block of Mohawk Boulevard at about 2 a.m. on Monday. Police say the men entered the business and robbed a female employee at gunpoint just before the business closed.


Police say the pair took off after they got an undisclosed amount of cash. They were both wearing black hooded sweatshirts and dark colored bandanas over their faces.

Multiple police officers and a k-9 unit searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.
