EUGENE, Ore. -- Students at Marist Catholic High School are taking a stand against bullying this week.
The Marist student leadership group known as "RISE" is launching a week-long campaign called "Take a Stand-Lend a Hand."
The campaign is designed to educate and raise awareness about the seriousness of bullying. Organizers said each day this week they will have a different anti-bullying activity for students.
One student with the group told KEZI she wants those going through a tough time, to know they are not alone.
"If you're a victim of bullying and feel like you're not enough, don't let it get to you,” Liv Carlin. “You are loved, you are not alone, there are people in your same situation, people care about you, you're not alone you can get through this."
She said next year, their group plans on working with other schools in the area to implement similar programs.
