Chief Meteorologist Justin Stapleton‘s Sunday Night Forecast Discussion:
**Wildfire information: Oregon Wildfires ***
Overnight there’s a slight chance of isolated showers at the coast and maybe a sprinkle inland as a weak cold front slowly moves across Western Oregon. Thursday will stay cloudy in the morning and likely parts of the early afternoon, however, we should see some sunshine breaking out by late afternoon. Highs as you might guess, will be slightly cooler in the low 80s.
Friday and the weekend, we’ve got a good looking forcast for folks headed to Brownsville for the Bi-Mart Willamette Country Music Festival. Besides a chance for some Friday afternoon thunderstorms in the mountains, we’ll see morning clouds and afternoon sun with highs in the low 80s both Saturday and Sunday. Next week, winds will stay westerly but there’s no storms coming so it’s back to dry and sunny!
Have a great Thursday!
