METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Another day full of sunshine Saturday with high temperatures into the upper 70s inland, even 80 degrees in Roseburg. The coast remained on the cooler side with high temps in the mid 50s.
A system is sliding to our north, which could bring a few light showers into the Willamette Valley and along the coast Saturday night into Sunday morning. The showers will be short lived and sunshine will return in the afternoon with high temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s.
Another system will slide to our north Sunday night into Monday morning, however this storm will be a bit farther to the south. That means we’ll have a better chance for some showers in the Willamette Valley, coast and Cascade foothill. The showers will quickly move out and mostly sunny skies will return for the afternoon. High temperatures will be on the cooler side, near average, in the low 60s.
Another high pressure ridge will build in for the middle and end of next week, bringing more sunshine and high temperatures into the upper 70s near 80 degrees.
Have a super Sunday!
