Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion:
The days of 90 degree weather are over…at least for this week.
A small front moved in overnight which brought in clouds across western Oregon early Tuesday. Those clouds cleared quickly though and it’s already back to mostly sunny skies for the remainder of the day. Although we don’t have any driving forces in place to bring us up to the 90s, the sun alone will allow temperatures to return to at least the mid 80s.
We’ll see another small disturbance swing through Wednesday morning. This will allow the marine layer to form along the coast and push into the Valley before sunrise. We could also see some drizzle, mainly at the coast early Wednesday. Temperatures will continue to drop with highs only reaching the upper 70s and low 80s Wednesday.
For the remainder of the week and through the weekend we’ll basically be in-between high pressure to the west of us and low pressure to the east. This means we’ll see fairly mild weather with morning clouds giving way to afternoon sunshine. Highs will stay in the low 80s Thursday and Friday then mid 80s for the weekend.
Have a great Tuesday!
