COOS BAY, Ore. — Coos Bay Police arrested two people for beating a transient to death early Sunday morning.
Officers got the call about 3 a.m. They found Jesse Hayes’ body near the corner of Hemlock and North 7th streets.
An autopsy revealed he had been beaten to death.
Officers arrested Michael Gertson and Jesse Longhenry, but they’re still looking for one more person of interest. If you have any information about this case, call Coos Bay Police.
