Corvallis Driver Cited in Head-On Crash

PRINVILLE, Ore. — A Corvallis man was cited after six people were injured in a crash Sunday in eastern Oregon.

Oregon State Police say Anoop Antony, 28, of Corvallis, was driving on Highway 26 east of Prineville, when he got distracted and drove into oncoming traffic and hit another vehicle head on.

Six people were injured in the crash. A passenger from each car was transported by LifeFlight to St. Charles Medical Center with serious injuries. The other four suffered minor injuries and were transported to the medical center by ambulance.

OSP troopers investigated the crash and cited Antony. They say driver distraction was a contributing factor.
