Corvallis Holds Annual Arts Fair

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Artists will be selling their own work in downtown Corvallis Saturday.

It’s the 52nd annual Clothesline Art Sale, which will be held on the courthouse lawn.

Local artists from the Corvallis Art Guild will be selling various works done in oil paints, water color, acrylics and more. It will give visitors an opportunity to even meet the artists.

“It exposes you to a lot of different art,”said Hester Coucke of the Corvallis Arts Center. “It makes it possible for you to meet the artists, which is quite special. Realistic, more abstract–there’s really something for a lot of people to find there.”

The sale goes from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, August 3. A portion of the sales will go toward local school art programs.
