Corvallis Knights Season Wraps Up

Goss StadiumCORVALLIS, Ore. — The Corvallis Knights are wrapping up the regular season with their last home games this week.

Monday night, the Knights are playing at home against an all-star team from the Northwest Collegiate Baseball League.

There are all sorts of game specials this week, including $2 tickets on Tuesday if fans show their Bi-Mart cards. Beer and peanuts will also be $2 on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the first 1,000 fans through the gates will get a free Knights hat courtesy of the Mario Pastega House. On Thursday, Pioneer Telephone and Peak Internet are sponsoring a fireworks show.

The Knights are ranked number one in the league, just ahead of the Bend Elks. The Knights are taking on the Elks Tuesday-Thursday this week, and the team says it is an important series to win.

“So we really need to pack Goss, get loud, and hopefully sweep them like we did last week,” said Bre Kerkvliet, Corvallis Knights General Manager.

Playoffs will start next week.
