Corvallis Sustainability Coalition Meets

Annette MillsCORVALLIS, Ore. –Corvallis is gearing up for its annual Sustainability Coalition event – and it is expecting over 500 people to attend.

Monday will be the Coalition’s sixth annual Sustainability Fair and Town Hall event. There will be 60 booths set up that discuss sustainability.

Organizers say it is a great way for the community to network and to get ideas from other businesses or organizations to make changes to be more eco-friendly.

“It gives people the chance to see the great things that are going on in Corvallis – environmentally, socially, economically – that are moving us toward becoming a sustainable community,” said Annette Mills, the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition’s facilitator. “It’s very exciting to hear about all the great things that are going on and to get ideas about we could be doing to live more sustainably.”

Best-seller author Vicki Robin will also speaking at the event. It goes from 5-9 pm at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center on the OSU campus. Click here to register.
