Corvallis Sustainability Town Hall Meets

Sustainability FairCORVALLIS, Ore. — Roughly 500 people attended the Sustainability Fair and Town Hall Monday night.

The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition put on the annual event at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center on OSU’s campus.

The group says it is a way for community members to network about eco-friendly lifestyles. Community members had a chance to see 60 different exhibits during the sustainability fair, then the group gathered for a Town Hall meeting. Author Vicki Robin was the keynote speaker.

“I’m just really impressed that little old Corvallis has this much activity and this much interest in sustainability,” said Michael Rodriguez, who came out for the event. “And it’s great to think about how much action can come out of a little meeting like this.”

The Coalition has put together sustainability tips that are available by clicking here.
