SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — The Springfield City Council will vote on a number of proposed fee increases.
The council suggested raising fees two weeks ago for things like building permits, library services and pet registration.
The city cites a rise in staffing and other municipal costs as the reason for the increases.
The council plans to vote on the increases at Monday night’s council meeting. It starts at 7 p.m. at Springfield City Hall, located at 225 5th St. If approved, the fee increases will kick in on April 1.
