EUGENE, Ore. — The Good Earth Home, Garden & Living Show continued preparations Wednesday.
One business plans to entice people with its home grown green patios. The Country Gardener’s booth at the show features a patio that’s low on chemicals and low on maintenance. It’s a natural-looking outdoor sitting area that uses local materials.
“The stone and the water feature is all native here to the Willamette Valley. All the nursery stock that we purchase is grown and purchased locally right here in Lane County,” said Martin Gascoyne, Co-owner of The Country Gardener.
The water feature is sustainable in its own right. It attracts wildlife and only uses a few gallons of water a week.
The show begins on Friday at 5 p.m.
