County to Hold Forum on Local Flu Trends

EUGENE, Ore. — As the weather gets colder, more people find themselves sniffling, coughing, and sometimes catching the flu.

But the Lane Preparedness Coalition says there are ways to avoid getting sick.

Lane County Public Health communicable disease officials will hold a public forum Wednesday, Nov. 13. They’ll talk about national and local flu trends. The National Weather Service will also be there with projections for this year’s winter weather.

The forum is from 1:30-3 p.m. at the Lane County Health and Human Services Building, located at 151 W. 7th Ave.
