UPDATE: Roosevelt Boulevard Reopens

UPDATE: Eugene police say the driver crashed due to a medical issue. She was treated for moderate injuries. Her dog was cared for through Eugene Animal Services. (2:25 p.m.)

UPDATE: Roosevelt Boulevard has reopened. (12:38 p.m.)

EUGENE, Ore. — Roosevelt Boulevard is closed from Garfield to Cleveland streets after a van crashed, knocking down high-voltage power lines.

Police say the crash happened around 11:12 a.m. Monday.

Police want drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians to avoid the road, which they expect will be shut down for two hours.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
