Crash Causes Junction City Power Outage

JUNCTION CITY, Ore. — A crash caused a power outage north of Junction City Monday morning.

EPUD says a driver crashed into a power pole around 12:40 a.m., which brought down power lines near Highway 99 and Lingo Lane.

It says more than 1,600 customers were without power, and about 1,000 of them received their power back within an hour. Crews were able to fully restore all power by 8:15 a.m.
