UPDATE: The Red Cross is helping dozens of residents who have been displaced after a 3-alarm fire erupted at a apartment complex near the University of Oregon Saturday night.
Fire officials say the blaze started on the second floor and spread to the third affecting roughly 40 units at 735 E. 14th Ave. There is extensive smoke damage to the complex. No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.
