Crews Replacing Guardrail on Highway 101

FLORENCE, Ore. — Drivers can expect delays on Highway 101, north of Florence, next week while crews replace guardrail along two sections of the highway.

Starting Monday, Sept. 17, ODOT crews will work from just south of the Cooks Chasm Bridge near milepost 167 to just north of the entrance to Devils Elbow State Park at about milepost 178.

Beginning Oct. 8, crews will replace guardrail from just north of Sea Lion Caves to about one mile south.

Traffic will be down to one lane from 6:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays with a flagger directing traffic. Drivers should expect 10-20 minute delays.

ODOT expects the two projects to be complete in the next four to five weeks.
