EUGENE, Ore. — The Eugene Police Department will be holding another forum to discuss crime prevention in neighborhoods.
The Crime Prevention Unit will be holding an informational forum Tuesday night for the Jefferson Westside Neighborhood. They will provide crime statistics and trends they have seen throughout the city and give advice on how to protect homes and property from thieves.
A neighborhood crime prevention specialist will be available after the forum for attendees with specific questions about their neighborhood.
The meeting’s from 7-8:15 p.m. at the First Methodist Church at 1376 Olive Street.
More informational forums will be held in November and December for the Friendly Area, Bethel, Santa Clara, Churchill Area, SUNA, Amazon Neighbors, Laurel Hill, Fairmount, West University, Harlow Neighbors, and Cal Young/Northeast Neighbors / Goodpasture.
