CrossFit Competion Registration Begins

EUGENE, Ore. — Registration began Monday for Eugene’s first CrossFit competition, and spaces are filling up fast.

The Eugene Emeralds and Tracktown CrossFit are hosting the Sasquatch Throwdown at PK Park in August, and there’s only room for 200 of the region’s best competitors.

Crossfitters from Southern California, north through Washington have already claimed spots, but if you’re not looking to compete, they could use your help volunteering elsewhere.

“We’re looking for judges. If you have any experience in medical, media, moving stuff around, score keepers, there are plenty of ways to get involved,” said Tyler Tostenson, Sasquatch Throwdown at PK Park.
