The bakery made a special cupcake to be sold through this week with half of the proceeds going to the non-profit.
Sweet Life’s co-owner says when Womenspace approached them about working together, they wanted to do what they could to make a difference.
“We’re donating those proceeds to Womenspace we support it. It’s a great organization. It helps victims of domestic violence and it also helps try to prevent domestic violence as well so we think it’s a great cause,” said Cheryl Reinhart, Co-Owner of Sweet Life.
The pastry is a chocolate cupcake with vanilla lavender butter crème and topped off with a purple ribbon to signify domestic violence awareness.
