EUGENE, Ore. — The deadly crash caused many delays and cancellations around the nation, including the Eugene Airport. The ripple effect lasted all weekend long and into Monday.
The 7:37 p.m. flight to the San Francisco airport was cancelled Monday. Two afternoon flights to the Bay area were delayed. Travelers had to wait more than 45 minutes to board their flights, but many of them say they were prepared.
“I came a half hour early because of the San Francisco situation,” said traveler Rebecca Luther.
Travelers flying into Eugene from San Francisco say the crash was on their minds.
“I was anxious that I wasn’t going to make it but made a few phone calls and everything was alright,” said traveler Carl Beck.
