Dexter Reservoir Health Advisory Lifted

DEXTER, Ore. — The Oregon Health Authority has lifted the health advisory for the Dexter Reservoir.

A recent test confirmed reduced levels of blue-green algae and their toxins.

They’re low enough that health experts say they’re no longer harmful to humans and animals.

However, if you’re at area lakes, you’re still urged to watch out for signs of algae blooms.
