EUGENE, Ore. — It’s official. The Alton Baker Disc Golf Course officially opened to the public Monday.

The designer worked on the project for several years before getting the green light from the city. He says now his main concern is getting people to use the course.

“Try to reeducate people to keep on the main trail. Keep on the main road. We don’t want to hit anybody or have any conflict,” said Andrew Rich, disc golf course designer.

Unlike other disc golf courses in the area, this one will cost a $3 day use fee–that will pay to keep it maintained.
