DMV Offices Closed Friday

EUGENE, Ore. — DMV and other state offices will be closed for a mandatory furlough day Friday, as well as Monday, making for a four-day weekend.

It’s the last of 10 statewide mandatory unpaid days over the biennium.

It’s estimated the furloughs will have saved the state more than $163 million over the two-year period.

Legislators are still working on the new budget, which could include additional furlough days.
