DNA Led Deputies to Burglary Suspect

5-7 Driskill BurglaryLEBANON, Ore. — Linn County deputies arrested a Lebanon man, almost a year to the day after he’s accused of stealing more than $67,000 worth of goods from a Lebanon home.

William Driskill, 35, faces a long list of charges including burglary. Last May, someone reported a burglary at a home on Stoltz Hill Road. The homeowner was out of state at the time.

Deputies found some DNA at the home, but weren’t able to come up with a match until last month. That’s when they say they got a search warrant for Driskell’s home. They recovered some of the stolen items, including collector coins.

Detectives also believe Driskill’sĀ been involved in several other thefts over the past year.
