EUGENE, Ore. — The psychedelic, tie-dyed hippie costumes are coming out Wednesday for the third annual Dodgeball in Downtown ’70s-themed tournament.

The game happens from 6-8 p.m. in Kesey Square.

The main objective of the game is to eliminate all the members of the opposing teams by hitting them with the balls.

There are fourteen teams playing downtown Wednesday night. Each are playing for a local charity, and the winning team will get $200 it can donate to that charity. The team also gets golden helmets.

There’s a $100 spirit award for the best group to cheer on this group. That money will also go to charity.
