CANYONVILLE, Ore. — Police say a wrong-way driver caused a deadly crash on I-5 early Sunday morning near Canyonville.
Oregon State Police say 26-year-old Joshua Davis from Eugene was traveling the wrong way in the southbound lanes when he crashed head-on into a Kia sedan.
The Kia’s driver, 44-year-old Victor Anderson from Oakland, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Davis was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There’s no word yet on whether he’ll face charges.
