Dry Week After Monday Showers

Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion:

The showers returned this weekend and temperatures dropped about 20 degrees from where we were mid-week. Monday will continue to be on the soggy side as an area of low pressure continues to make its way down the Oregon Coast.

We’ll see showers off and on mixed with sun breaks and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon, especially in the higher elevations. Most of the showers will wrap up Monday early evening. We’ll see highs in the mid 60s in the Valley, low 60s at the Coast and upper 60s in the Umpqua Basin.

Dry weather returns Tuesday and we’ll stay that way through Friday. Highs will climb to the 70s starting Tuesday with the warmest day shaping up to be Thursday in the mid to upper 70s.

Have a great start to your week!
