Drying Out and Slowly Warming Up

Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion

High pressure is moving into western Oregon. This means we’ll be rain free and mostly sunny Wednesday and Thursday. This also means we’re having to put up with the fog again this morning. You can see in the pictures above, the coast is clear while the valley is socked in. The visible satellite image shows where the fog is contained. Once the sun gets up and going and winds continue to pick up we’ll get back to mostly sunny skies this afternoon with highs in the low 60s.

A weak front is trying to move in Thursday night. A few light isolated showers will be the most we see from this otherwise it’ll be back to dry weather and mostly sunny skies for Friday and Saturday. Highs will climb to the low to mid 60s.

Another weak front is on the way for Saturday night, also not expected to do much. We may see a few isolated light showers late Saturday night. Sunday and Monday are both looking mostly sunny with highs in the mid 60s.

Have a great day!
