Students and other fans plan to tune into the game at local bars and restaurants. Even though it’s spring break, a lot of students stuck around campus. They say they’re hopeful for a win, but no matter what they’re proud of their team.
“These guys have been working their butts off for many, many years just trying to get this cohesive kind of family and basketball team, trying to get it together, trying to win, and now they’re actually doing what they started out to try and achieve,” said student Kimberly Underwood.
Students say they look forward to next season because key players are returning. The Ducks tip off at 4:15 p.m. Pacific Time Friday.
