Ducks Arrive in Arizona for BCS National Championship Game

January 2, 2010

GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Oregon Ducks football team arrived in Arizona on Sunday in preparation for the BCS National Championship Game on January 10.

The team got off the plane Sunday afternoon, at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, before bussing over to the team’s hotel in Scottsdale.

Oregon Head Coach Chip Kelly didn’t speak when he left Eugene, but he did at an arrival news conference shortly after landing.

KEZI 9 News is the only local news station with the Ducks in Arizona, following the team throughout the entire week leading up to the National Championship.

Our coverage will come to a crescendo next Sunday, January 9, at 6 PM with an hour-long “BCS Special: Ducks in the Desert” from Arizona.
