Ducks Fall To Bruins, 70-68

EUGENE — On January 1st, the Ducks were ranked 10th in the nation. On January 31st, the Ducks will be in 10th place in the Pac-12 standings.

Oregon finished January with a 2-6 record after falling to UCLA 70-68 on Thursday night. Travis Wear’s bucket with 5.3 seconds left in the game was the difference – the Ducks had a chance to tie at the buzzer, but Johnathan Loyd’s jumper was blocked by Kyle Anderson.

Joseph Young scored 25 points to lead all scorers. Jordan Adams scored 19 points to lead UCLA.

The Ducks fell to 14-6 overall, and 2-6 in the Pac-12. Oregon will host USC on Saturday night at 5 p.m.
