Ducks’ Remington Suspended for DUII

EUGENE, Ore. — The University of Oregon has suspended senior defensive tackle Isaac Remington indefinitely pending clarification of an incident that occurred Friday morning in Eugene, according to the Ducks’ head football coach Chip Kelly.

The Phoenix, Ariz., native is tied for third on the team in tackles for loss with four for minus 13 yards among his 12 tackles in six games, including four stops earlier this year vs. the University of Arizona.

[UPDATE] KEZI 9 has learned that the Eugene Police Department cited Remington in lieu of custody for DUII. The incident happened at 12:30AM Friday morning on East 12th and Kincaid in Eugene. Remington is scheduled for a court appearance on Nov. 1.
