EUGENE, Ore– Eugene Police Department held another crime prevention forum on Thursday night, another in a series of meetings they will be holding in November.
About 20 people showed up to the meeting, held at the Friendly Street Church of God in south Eugene.
The presentation included tips on how to prevent certain crimes, such as car thefts and home invasions.
Police say these forums help reduce crime, because the attendees go home and share the message with their neighbors.
There are still six more meetings similar to this one. The next one will be held November 14th at Clear Lake Elementary on Barger Drive.
