EPD Investigating Man’s Death

EUGENE, Ore. — A man collapsed and died Friday night, and now the Eugene Police Department is trying to figure out what killed him.

Officers say the victim, a man in his 30s, was in a dispute near 4500 Woodsboro.

He then collapsed on the sidewalk and died. Officers have yet to determine what killed him.

“They’re setting the crime scene tape and trying to make sure the area where the evidence might be is all secure and then they are going to start interviewing and trying to find out more information they will be talking to the medical examiner,” EPD Spokeswoman Melinda Mclaughlin

The Violent Crimes Team, the Forensic Evidence Unit, the District Attorney and the Medical Examiner were all called to the scene.
