EPD Quickly Catches Suspected Robber

4-9 bimartEUGENE, Ore. — A quick response and a little assistance helped Eugene Police catch a suspected robber.

Police say Alexander Watson walked up to the exterior pharmacy window at the Bi-Mart on Willakenzie Rd. and handed the worker a note. He threatened to blow up the building. Officers say the 25-year-old then ran.

Witnesses provided identification information, including the vehicle he jumped into.

EPD caught up with him a few blocks away and took him into custody. Charges are pending.
