EUGENE, Ore. – Eugene Police says it arrested a man following a dispute outside the Horsehead Bar, Saturday.
EPD says around 8:45 p.m. Rodolfo Zambrano, 32, of Eugene, and a 47-year-old Eugene man were in an argument inside the tavern. Both men were asked to leave.
Witnesses say the dispute continued outside, where Zambrano shoved the man and punched him in the face, knocking him unconscious. As the man fell, his head hit the sidewalk.
Zambrano ran from the scene. Police chased him a short distance before catching up and taking him into custody. Zambrano was lodged in the Lane County Jail for assault in the second degree and a parole violation.
The man sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
