EPD’s Campus Crime Reminders

EUGENE, Ore. — As University of Oregon students moving in this week, Eugene Police have a few reminders to help prevent break-ins.

Police say most burglaries in the university neighborhoods happen during the day, when a door or window was left unlocked.

EPD says not to leave anything visible in a vehicle, don’t leave a laptop unattended in your car, at the library or the coffee shop.

For those with a bicycle, lock it up with a high quality lock and register it with the University of Oregon Police Department or EPD.
