Eugene Bi-Mart Pharmacy Robbed

Eugene PoliceUPDATE (5 P.M.): Police arrested Shane Michael Wendland, 31, of Eugene. He is charged with third-degree robbery.

EUGENE, Ore. — Police are looking for a man they say robbed the Bi-Mart pharmacy on West 18th Avenue.

Police say at about 2:18 p.m. Monday, a man used a note to rob the pharmacy and left westbound on foot.

They say he is a white male in his 30s, 5’6” tall, medium build with bright, red dyed hair. He was last seen wearing a black beanie hat, black jacket and dark jeans.

    If they “broke in” at 3AM and no store employees were there, it is a burglary, not a robbery.

    Robbery is theft with force or fear from a person.

    Burglary is theft from inside an building or residence.

    Get it straight.
