Eugene Nurses Nominated for Award

EUGENE, Ore. — The March of Dimes has announced the names of 183 finalists in its annual Oregon Nurse of the Year award, and 11 of those finalists live in Eugene.

Eight of those finalists work for PeaceHealth and three work for McKenzie-Willamette.

The March of Dimes says it chooses finalists based on their constant care and compassion for patients. A winner will be chosen in 16 categories, including critical care, pediatrics and rising star

Four-hundred nurses were originally nominated.
