EUGENE, Ore. — The city of Eugene received more than $680,000 to clean up old industrial buildings around the city and county.
It’s part of a Brownfield Grant that Eugene will share with both the city of Springfield and Lane County.
This money is solely allocated to take inventory of the polluted sites around the cities and county.
The city says it’s really excited to use part of the money to get a jump start on Envision Eugene and Livability Lane ideas.
