Eugene Roadster Show Attracts Thousands

2014 Roadster ShowEUGENE, Ore. — If you’re looking for something to do during this rainy weekend, organizers of the 2014 Eugene Roadster Show say families should head to the Lane Events Center to look at some beautiful cars.

There are more than 65 custom cars on display, with a mix of vintage and newer models. There’s also wine tasting, giveaways, and a couple of raffles to win cars.

Famous custom car builder John D’Agostino is at the show for the first time this year. He travels all over the world show casing his work, and will be there to chat with folks both days of the show.

“It’s just so great to be here,” D’Augostino said, “I see some beautiful cars here. I know we’re going to have a big show.”

D’Augostino has created custom cars for celebrities such as Jay Leno, Travis Barker and ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons.

“Come and See me, come and meet me, let’s talk about customs, let’s take hotrods, let’s talk cars,” D’Augostino said.

The roadster show is open until 10 p.m. Saturday March 29, and 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, March 30.
