EUGENE, Ore. — The city of Eugene is looking for volunteers to help with its Eugene Sunday Streets event in September.
This is the second year the city is hosting this event.
The city will close down portions of East 24th Avenue, Agate Street, 19th Avenue, University Street, Potter Street, 27th Avenue and Hilyard Street to cars and leave it open for people to walk, roll and dance through the streets.
The event happens Sunday, September 9 from 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The city needs about 100 more volunteers. To sign up, click here or call the Eugene Sunday Streets Volunteer Coordinator at 541-501-0390.

I wanted to be an intersection volunteer on Fifth Street, last year’s site. Is it a typo?
