Marie Mehlum will become a top member of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Mehlum is currently the CEO of Summit Bank and has spent years traveling to the nation’s capital to advocate for small businesses and community banks.
She will take over the role of Associate Administrator of the SBA’s Office of Capital Access, which reports directly to a member of President Barack Obama’s cabinet.
