FREE
Visit the Downtown Eugene Public Library in November and December to enjoy “All Together Now,” a show of colorful new textile works by Oregon Fiber Artists. The exhibit is on display in the Magazines and Newspapers Room on the second floor during the Downtown Library’s regular open hours, including until 8:00 p.m. on First Fridays. Admission is free.
For eons, humans have developed techniques for manipulating fiber to create apparel, bedding, shelter, and other items, enabling a rich means of artistic expression. Oregon Fiber Artists continue this heritage, supporting members in their personal artistic goals while collectively promoting community appreciation of fiber artists and their creations. The group’s slogan is “Where the love of textile techniques and art meet.”
