The Coast Fork Willamette Watershed Council invites the public to join us for a free Science Pub speaker series that will occur the fourth Tuesday of each month from 5-7pm through November 2014. (Join us for the Winter Watershed Soirée on December 12th.) The purpose of Science Pub is to share watershed information through updates and dynamic speakers in a relaxed setting at Axe & Fiddle Public House in downtown Cottage Grove. Join us from 5-6pm for informal games and happy hour. Presentations begin at 6pm with updates from the watershed council and speaker introductions.

July 22nd—Water Law for the Lay Person; Understanding Oregon Water Rights System, featuring Water Master Michael Mattick, Oregon Water Resources Department

August 26th—Fish in the Coast Fork with Shannon Richardson, Springfield Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife (tentative)
